"Bright Eyes" WIP #1.
This is “supposed” to be a speedpaint for a class project. Of course, it’s been taking me much longer than that as an amateur.
Drawn in Illustrator, cheaply animated in After Effects
I have an After Effects class, and recently I had to do a walk cycle. I figured I’d use Nacho again to see how far I’ve come. Definitely an improvement from the stubby little guy I drew almost a year ago (although the old one was drawn traditionally versus digitally).
I am aware that the toes don’t bend. When I tried to do that, it completely messed up his body’s bounciness.
Art built in Illustrator. All animation done in After Effects.
The fight for consistent Abby proportions continues……
Inked in SAI, colored in Photoshop with a basic brush set to Screen Mode.
Random, vague doodles based off of some basic shapes as a starting template.
Haven’t drawn Abby in a while, and especially Ginger.
I’m liking the proportions of Abby on the right, just not sure about the legs. I might also want to make her a little chubbier, since she’s a teeny kitten.
So I had to make the exact same bouncing ball animation in a higher-level After Effects class with the exact same teacher, so I threw together another birdie ball thing.
More Edith and prototype concepts for a potential monster idea.
Tempted to color in Edith in the top left.
The coolest robot to ever cool… when his sunglasses are firmly attached to his face.
